The Bare Bones Guide to HTML
This is Version 4, which conforms to HTML 4.0. It's a list of every official HTML tag in common use, with IE and Netscape extensions. Available in various formats and 21 languages.
W3C HTML Homepage
The W3C is the organization that determines the specifications for HTML and XHTML. Their website provides a wealth of resources, including includes guidelines, tutorials, validation utilities and other useful material.
