BizFu, LLC provides technical consulting, editorial and hosting services. It is a woman-owned small business based in Capitola, CA, and has been in operation since 1999.

The company began as an organizing structure for the friends-and-family hosting services and freelance work of the three friends who are now its directors: a networking and IP routing expert, a programmer/systems administrator, and a writer/editor. Over time, an influx of new hosting customers and contract work encouraged the three to turn what was once a sideline into a full-time business venture.

In order to expand the services available to its clients, BizFu also maintains an on-call network of about 20 independent contractors with a wide variety of skill sets (quality assurance, customer service, technical support, web development, programming languages such as C, C++, Perl, PHP and Java, system administration, Oracle and SQL database administration, technical writing, editing and proofreading and marketing/public relations) in both Northern California and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (over the states of Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia). When a project requires skills or manpower hours outside those of the BizFu full-time team, these contractors are called in.

Currently, BizFu's products and services split into two main families: hosting and colocation, and consulting services. This latter category encompasses a wide variety of projects, centered around but not limited to the core competencies of its three directors: network design and implementation; technical documentation and user training; online content creation and management; application programming; contract systems administration and help desk support.
